Namaste, my friends.

The day is finally here. We are packing up our bags, and all of our gear and heading on a 20 day epic adventure through the amazing counties that are, India and Nepal!! I am consumed with giddiness right now! After 2 lay overs, and 20 plus hours in the air, we will arrive in New Delhi and spend 2 days there before heading to Agra the see one of the 7 wonders of the world, The Taj Mahal. Once we arrive we will take photos of the 8th wonder... me! ( haha ) From there, we will spend time visiting amazing temples in Orchha and then we will take a sunrise boat ride down the Ganges landing in Varanasi. (I am totally geeking out right now!) We will then say namaste as we leave India and head in to Nepal where we will journey through the Chitwan National Park, which sits at the base of the Himalayas(....eeekk!) for a few days (where there is talk of an airplane ride over Everest) and last but certainly not least we will land in Katmandu where we will finish our trip. I cannot even imagine everything we will see and experience and how much we will take away from this trip. The people that we will meet and the stories we will see in their eyes, the poverty that will inevitably be everywhere, the feral dogs and the cows. The smells of curry, incense and feces, burning bodies and masala chai. This is wanderlust at its finest. This is why we do what we do for a living, to travel and immerse ourselves in different cultures. What I bring back from every adventure is priceless, it is life changing. It gives me life.

When this amazing family contacted me for photos, I mentioned my upcoming trip and being the amazing clients they are, they told me to go with whatever I was feeling. I squealed and we came up with this. Pretty boho with a peaceful and tranquil twist. Also, my baby girl Aspen made an appearance. Ever since the shoot, she has been sitting by the phone waiting for Vogue to call and book her. Silly bunny. ;)
