I always knew that I was supposed to meet you...

When I first talked with Nicole, she was just getting ready to start her 3rd trimester. I could instantly hear the excitement in her voice. She raved about how happy she was to finally be going through all the beautiful stages of motherhood, and how all it took was meeting the most perfect guy, her husband Bill. Bill and Nicole certainly have a marriage that we all hope to find. During their maternity session, he was so sweet the way he paid attention to all of the small details to be sure she was always comfortable which was super helpful, since our session ended up being during one of the coldest days of the year. It was a brisk 20 degrees and windy, and since we live in Pittsburgh and were desperate for snow, we had to go with the only day we knew would work. (I don't always test my clients ability to shiver.) lol She was such a trooper, which is probably due to the fact that her sister is also a photographer. I say it again and again, but truly, the best part of my job is meeting clients who become friends and being the one who gets to timestamp all of these moments. To have the opportunity to watch new parents glow during the pregnancy together and then to get to meet their new little babes is everything.

We wanted a nautical theme for little Liam since mom is from the coast of New Jersey. We truly had the best time planning, and I couldn't be happier with the results.
